6 months ago my desk looked like a spiderweb of cables, now it's basically invisible

I finally bought a pack of those adhesive cable clips from the hardware store for like 6 bucks and routed everything under my desk in about 20 minutes. Has anyone else noticed how much cleaner a space feels when you just hide the power brick under a shelf instead of letting it dangle?

Oh man, that bit about the cat chewing on the clips got me. Your cat probably thought the cables were some kind of weird jungle gym or toy, which is honestly kinda funny but also frustrating. I had the same thing happen with my dog when I tried to tidy up my desk. He kept pulling at the little clips and I had to buy the heavy duty ones that stick on better. But yeah, the difference in how the room feels is huge once those power bricks and cables are out of sight. It's like the whole space breathes easier or something. I spent a solid hour adjusting my monitor arm too just to get that last dangling wire hidden, and now my desk looks almost like a piece of furniture instead of a computer repair station.
