Stopped by an antique shop in St. Louis and found a whole stack of old tube amp schematics

There was a guy selling a bunch of vintage radio gear from the 50s, and mixed in were these hand-drawn amp plans for a Fenderish circuit. I bought the whole pile for $15. Has anyone else stumbled on old schematics at random places like that?

$15 for a pile of tube amp schematics sounds like a steal... but those hand-drawn plans might be for a tweed circuit, not a Fenderish one. Fender didn't really do "ish" until later on, those old ones were pretty specific.

Yeah, right? I used to think finding old gear manuals or schematics in person was pretty much a dead thing. Figured everything was already scanned and online. But this post kinda changed my mind. @leo_campbell has a good point about the tweed circuit thing, those old plans are pretty specific and not really "ish" at all. I bet that's a fun project to trace through.
