Replaced the filter caps in my old Fender Champ and got a weird hum I never expected
I figured after 20 years those old caps would be shot so I put in a fresh set of 32x20uf caps I got off Mouser for like 12 bucks. Plugged it in and now there's this low 60 cycle hum that wasn't there before, even with the volume all the way down. Did I mess up the grounding when I swapped them or is there something else I should check first?

Hold up, did you check the polarity on those new caps? I learned this the hard way. There's this thing in life where you think you're fixing something old and you put in a shiny new part, but you actually create a new problem because you didn't pay attention to the details. It's like when you replace a leaky faucet washer but you cross-thread the nut and now it leaks worse than before. Those 32x20 caps are probably fine, but if you reversed the positive and negative leads on even one of them, it'll cause that exact 60-cycle hum because the cap is acting like a resistor instead of filtering. I'd double check your solder joints too, a cold joint can introduce noise just like a loose connection in your car speaker wires. Start with the polarity, that's the most common thing to get flipped when you're excited to get it working again.

Oh man, done that before with a cathode bypass cap, drove me crazy for a week.
