Switched from one weekly email to three short ones and saw a 40% jump in opens
For a year I sent a single long newsletter every Friday to my small business list. Opens hovered around 22%. Last month, I split it into three shorter emails sent on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. After four weeks, the open rate is now at 31%. The content is basically the same, just broken up. Has anyone else found a sweet spot for email frequency that doesn't annoy people?

Wow, that's a huge jump... I read a case study where a blogger switched from one big monthly digest to short, weekly tips. They said people felt less overwhelmed and were more likely to click when the email was a quick read. Your three-a-week schedule sounds like it hits that same spot.

But honestly, is anyone's inbox that fragile? I get what @tarab54 is saying about less being more, but three emails a week still feels like a lot to keep up with. It just seems like we're all overthinking how often we need to hear from a brand.
