Spent $2k on a TikTok ad campaign and it was a total waste
Honestly, I hired a freelancer last month to run a week of ads for my small online shop. They said we'd get a ton of new followers and sales. Ngl, after the $2k was gone, we got maybe 50 followers and 3 sales. The videos they made looked cheap and didn't fit my brand at all. Has anyone else had a bad experience with TikTok ads and found a better way to do it?

That's the risk with handing over creative control to someone who doesn't get your brand. It feels like a lot of marketing these days is just throwing money at a problem without a real plan. You really have to be hands-on to make it work.

Heard you need to run your own ads there.
