Rant: My whole email funnel crashed on a Saturday morning

I spent 3 months building this lead nurture sequence for my side gig, and last Saturday it just broke. No trigger, no warning, just stopped sending emails to like 200 people who signed up that week. Support said it was a webhook issue but I'm still trying to figure out if I should rebuild on a different platform or just hire someone to fix it. Has anyone else dealt with autoresponder failures that messed up your conversion rates?

Saturday morning crashes are a special kind of pain, I feel you. One thing though - 200 signups in a week for a side gig is actually pretty solid, so maybe your sequence was working better than you think before it broke. Webhook issues are usually some dumb config thing, not a platform problem, so I'd dig through your API logs first before you jump ship to something else.

Wait, so 200 signups in a week is actually good? I thought that was a fail, but maybe I'm just bad at math. @noahchen you're probably right about the webhook thing being some dumb config issue though. I had a similar thing with a Mailchimp integration once and it turned out I just forgot to tick a box. Feels like half the time "platform sucks" really means "user error" and I'm the user.
