My autoresponder broke during a Black Friday sale and cost me 40 leads

I set up a fancy email sequence for a client's Black Friday campaign last month and the trigger never fired on any of the signups. Turned out the API connection to their form plugin silently failed after an update the night before. Has anyone found a reliable way to test automation flows end to end before they go live?

Man, maybe try signing up yourself with a dummy email right before launch to catch the dead spots.
