Hit 2,000 repeat visitors last month and it threw me off

Been running this side project blog for about 8 months now. Never expected that many people coming back. Has anyone else seen a number that made you stop and rethink your whole strategy?

Jumped from 500 to 1,200 returning readers in one month and honestly had to sit down for a minute. That kind of loyalty forces you to actually take your own project seriously.

@hall.ruby better be careful, that kind of growth might actually turn into a real job instead of a side project! But seriously, having 700 new loyal readers show up is like looking in the mirror and realizing you accidentally became a professional. That pressure is real though, it's the difference between "maybe I'll write when I feel like it" and "oh no people are waiting for content guess I have to actually deliver now." Hope you had a snack and some water after that career reckoning moment!
