Hit 10,000 email subscribers last week and it felt like a glitch
I've been running a tiny niche newsletter about local coffee shop culture for 2 years. Last Tuesday the count rolled past 10,000 and I literally refreshed the screen three times thinking it was a bug. That number matters because it finally got me a sponsorship deal with a roaster out of Portland who pays $500 per send. Has anyone else had a milestone sneak up on them like that?

Yo wait that sponsorship math is wild. $500 per send with 10k subs is way better than what most people get from ad networks. How the heck did you land that roaster deal? Did you pitch them cold or did they come to you after seeing your content? I gotta know because im sitting at 8k subs in a different niche and the only offers im getting are from like dropshipping scams offering $50. Feels like theres a secret handshake or something with these quality sponsors. Like what specifically did you say or show them that made them bite?
