Can we talk about when your email list hits 1,000 subscribers?

Mine just did, and it surprised me because I only started focusing on my newsletter 6 months ago. Has anyone else seen a big jump after making a specific change to their sign-up process?

Yeah, my sign-up box is still in the sidebar collecting digital dust.

Congrats on hitting that mark, it's a huge deal. My list grew a lot faster once I put a simple sign-up box right at the end of my blog posts instead of just in the sidebar. People are already reading and seem more likely to join. It took me a year to get my first 500, but the next 500 came in just a few months after that change.

Oh wow, that's a solid tip. I read something similar a while back about how people are in a different mindset by the end of a post. Like, if they just read the whole thing, they're already bought into your ideas, so asking them to sign up right then makes total sense. It's way better than a sidebar thing that just sits there ignored. Might have to move my own sign-up box now.
