A client in Austin said my crew's website was 'invisible' to her mom

I was fixing a leak under her sink last month, and she mentioned her mom tried to find our number online but gave up after 3 searches. She said, 'If my mom can't find you, you're not really online.' I mean, it made me realize our local SEO might be totally broken for older folks. Has anyone else had to rethink their site for a specific age group?

Totally feel this. My aunt tried to book a haircut on my friend's salon site and rage quit because the booking button was some tiny grey text. She called it a "ghost button." Had to walk her through it over the phone. Made me see how many sites rely on younger people just knowing where to click. We changed all our buttons to big blue blocks with clear words like "Call Now" after that. Night and day difference for her.

Ghost buttons are the worst, like they're trying to hide from you! It's crazy how many sites treat the main action like a secret. Your fix is exactly what everyone should do.
