Why does nobody talk about coworking space noise levels in Mexico City
I've been bouncing between spots in Condesa for about 2 months now and the background chatter is way worse than I expected. Like three different places claim they're quiet zones but then someone takes a Zoom call right next to you every 20 minutes. Am I just picking the wrong spots or is this a known thing with the popular places here in Roma?

Pick places that don't advertise as coworking spaces at all. The coffee shops with just wifi and a sign usually have way less noise cause nobody expects to take calls there. Stick to the quieter cafes in Roma Norte and you'll save your sanity.

Yeah, I actually read something similar the other day about how the whole "coworking cafe" trend is kind of ruining it for everyone. People go to these places expecting to take loud calls and treat it like an office, but the quieter spots in Roma Norte really are a different vibe. I remember a blog post mentioning that a place like Cafe Avellaneda on a weekday morning is super chill, nobody's on zoom calls or anything. And then there's Buna on a Monday, same thing, just people reading or typing quietly. So yeah, the trick is to find those hidden gems that don't even have the word "coworking" on their menu.
