Update: Why I prefer slow internet cafes over rushing to find the fastest one

Everyone in this group seems to chase the quickest wifi spots to get work done fast. I actually like the slower places because the wait forces me to step back and think, which improves my projects. Do you ever find that taking your time pays off more than rushing?

Consider how often a fast connection just lets you make mistakes quicker. Sometimes that slower pace is what actually gets things done right.

Wow, I totally get this now. I used to complain about slow upload speeds all the time. But last week my connection was crawling, and I caught three dumb typos in a document while waiting for it to save. If it had zipped through, I would have sent it full of errors. That slower forced pause made me actually look at what I was doing.

I started adding a manual pause before hitting send on important stuff. It sounds silly, but those few seconds let me spot mistakes I'd normally miss. Now I do it even with a fast connection, lol.
