Took me 4 hours to figure out why my coworking space WiFi kept dropping

I was sitting in this spot in Bangkok at a coworking cafe and my video calls kept glitching. Tried restarting my laptop, checked the speed, even asked the barista. After 4 hours of frustration I finally realized I was sitting right next to the microwave. Soon as I moved three tables over, perfect connection. Has anyone else found a hidden signal killer like that?

Yep. Found out the hard way those industrial fridges kill WiFi too.

@jesse84 dude same here. I swear my fridge in the garage just straight up murders my whole 2.4ghz band when the compressor kicks on.
