That 'quiet' coworking space in Chiang Mai was anything but quiet (took me 3 days to find a real one)

I landed in Chiang Mai thinking every cafe coworking spot would be perfect for deep work. Spent two whole days hopping around Nimman area places that were basically Instagram meetups with loud music. Finally found The Hive on Nimmanhaemin Road (the one with the dedicated quiet floor) and my productivity shot up 80% after just one afternoon there. Has anyone else wasted time scouting coworking spots that looked great online but failed in real life?

Come on now, you just didn't look hard enough. Those "Instagram meetups" you're complaining about actually help you meet other remote workers and build a network. That's half the reason people go to coworking spaces in the first place. The Hive is fine for what it is but it's basically a library with a monthly fee. You missed out on all the random conversations and connections that happen at the louder spots. Sometimes a little background noise actually helps me focus better than dead silence anyway. Maybe the issue isn't the coworking spaces but your own inability to adapt to different environments.

@ryan_carr59 is way off here, finding a quiet spot to work is the whole point.
