Spent a month in Chiang Mai and completely changed my mind about coworking spaces

I always thought they were a waste of money. Just find a cafe, right? But after 4 weeks there, I saw how packed the good ones were every single day. It's not just about wifi. It's the community. Met a guy from Germany who showed me a local SIM deal that saved me $40. The structured hours actually made me finish projects faster. Has anyone else found a spot that really clicked for them in a new city?

Read a blog post about how the best coworking spots have a good host who connects people. That totally explains the German guy with the SIM card tip. Makes you wonder if the space itself matters less than who runs it.

That German guy gave out SIM cards for free? The host makes or breaks the vibe completely. A bad one turns even a nice space into a library with bad coffee.

Ever try a space for just a day pass first? I learned the hard way to never sign up for a month until I've done that... the vibe can be way off.
