Spent $50 on a noise-canceling headset for coffee shop work, best cash I ever dropped

I was at a Starbucks in Chiang Mai last month and couldn't hear my client on a call because of the blender. So I walked to a 7-Eleven and grabbed this cheap Anker headset for like $50. It blocks out most of the chatter and the blender noise, but I can still hear if someone says my name for a pickup order. Has anyone else found a cheap fix for working in loud cafes?
