Overheard a guy in a Bali co-working space bragging about his "0 dollar rent" setup
He was staying at some hostel for free by doing 20 hours of social media work a week for them. Said he saved $600 a month but didn't mention the 4am wake up calls from drunk guests. Made me think about how everyone posts the highlight reel but not the trade-offs that come with it. Has anyone else run into deals like that where the savings aren't worth the hassle?

Feel you on that one. The hidden costs of those "free" arrangements always come out somewhere, usually in your sleep or sanity.
