My worst week as a digital nomad was in Medellin last March
I spent 7 days at a coworking space in El Poblado that had no soundproofing between meeting rooms. Three different video calls got interrupted by someone recording a podcast right outside my door. I ended up working from a cafe mostly, but the internet dropped twice during a client presentation. Has anyone else had to plan their schedule around coworking space noise levels?

Hell no, you're kidding me. A coworking space with no soundproofing between meeting rooms? That's straight up amateur hour. I would've lost my mind after the first podcast interruption - that's not a workspace, that's a nightmare dressed up as productivity. And the internet dropping during a client call? That's the kind of thing that makes you want to toss your laptop out the window. I swear some of these places slap "coworking" on a building and call it good without thinking about basic stuff like noise control.

Oh 100%, it's like the whole world forgot how to design spaces for actual human use, not just for looking good on Instagram. Coworking places, coffee shops, even doctor's waiting rooms now all have this weird open-concept noise problem that nobody asked for.
