Got stuck in a coworking space in Chiang Mai with no power for 6 hours and lost a client because I missed their deadline.
I was in the middle of a big project when the whole building went dark and nobody told us when it would come back, so I had to grab my laptop and find a cafe with a generator but by the time I got online the client had already pulled the job, has anyone else had a power outage screw them over like that?

Honestly, that's brutal. I once had my whole hard drive die right before a big presentation, and I ended up having to explain my entire project on a napkin with a borrowed pen. Tbh the client was not impressed and I lost that contract too. Ngl losing power like that in a place with shaky infrastructure is a special kind of nightmare.
