Fell for that fancy co-working space in Bali - cost me $400 and my sanity
I booked this trendy spot in Canggu for a month because the Instagram photos looked amazing. Showed up and there were 50 people crammed into a room designed for 20, with wifi that died every 15 minutes. Spent the first week trying to get a refund and ended up working from a noisy cafe. Anyone else get burned by these overhyped digital nomad hubs?

They overpromise on the wifi and space every single time. The instagram pics are always taken at 6am when nobody is there. I think the real move is finding a local cafe or a quiet guesthouse instead of those flashy coworking spots. Four hundred bucks for a month in Bali is steep too you can get a whole villa for that in some areas. Next time skip the hype and just ask around the local expat facebook groups for a good spot.
