Ditching my "dedicated" work cafes for 7-Eleven changed my whole workflow

I spent like 3 months bouncing between overpriced coworking spots in Bangkok thinking I needed the "right vibe" to focus. Then my Airbnb host's Wi-Fi went out and I just sat down at a 7-Eleven with a Chang and a sticky table. Turns out the constant noise and people moving around actually kept me locked in better than any silent room. Now I hit up a Family Mart or 7-Eleven every afternoon in Chiang Mai and my output doubled. Anyone else find a weird low-key spot that worked better than the obvious options?

Totally get that. Sometimes the oddest spots just click.

Used to think I needed some quiet corner with my latte and a plant wall to get anything done. Tried a 7-Eleven once when my usual spot was packed and honestly it worked better. The hum of the cooler and people shuffling around keeps me from zoning out or checking my phone every two minutes. Bought a green tea and sat there for two hours knocking out work I'd been dragging my feet on all week. Now I hit up the one near my apartment instead of the overpriced shop down the street.
