Coworking spaces in Medellin are overrated

I tried three different ones last month. WiFi was fine but the vibe is fake. Everyone's just trying to network instead of working. Got more done at a quiet cafe in Laureles for $2 a coffee. Maybe I'm wrong but the hype doesn't match reality for me. Anyone else find coworking spaces a distraction?

Yeah that tracks! It feels like everything's becoming a curated experience instead of just letting people actually live and work without turning it into a performance.
