My local business page hit 500 reviews and it changed how I do everything

I run a small dog grooming shop and my Google Business Profile just passed 500 reviews last month. I never aimed for a number, but hitting it made me look at the data. I saw that 80% of new customers mention a specific review when they book. Now I reply to every single review, good or bad, and ask happy clients to share a detail about their dog's visit. Has anyone else seen a big shift after focusing on review replies?

Honestly, my reply game was so weak before. I used to just say "thanks" and move on. Now I try to mention the dog's name and one thing from their review, like "Hope Bella loves her new bandana!" It feels cheesy but it actually works.
