Had a week where my Facebook ads actually worked perfectly for once
Last Tuesday I launched a campaign for a local bakery with only $50 total. By Thursday I had 12 conversions and a cost per lead of $1.50 which is way better than my usual $5. I think the secret was using their summer menu photos instead of stock images. Has anyone else seen big jumps just from switching up creative?

Holy crap, have you tried running your own photos vs stock? I did the exact same thing for a coffee shop client last month and it was NIGHT AND DAY. Their engagement rate on the real photos of their actual pastries was like 4 times higher than the generic coffee cup stock images I had been using. I think the biggest difference was people could tell it was a REAL place with REAL food and not some fake ad photo. The cost per click dropped by almost half when I switched to photos of their actual bakery counter too. It made me wonder why I ever wasted money on stock images in the first place honestly.

My buddy runs a food truck. Tried stock photos of burgers for ads. Dead air. Zero clicks. Finally took his own photos with his phone. Messed up lighting and everything. His pulled pork sandwich looked amazing though. Engagement tripled overnight. People want to see the actual thing they're gonna eat. Stock photos feel fake. Real photos feel honest.
