Finally caved and tried automated email sequences after ignoring them for 2 years
I used to think email funnels were just spam factories (you know, the kind that flood your inbox). Then I ran a tiny A/B test on my own store in Austin with a 3-part welcome series for people who signed up for a free guide. The segment that got those emails bought 22% more often over 30 days than the ones who got nothing. Has anyone else had a tool or platform completely flip their opinion on something they wrote off?

I was the same way for a long time. Called them junk mail with extra steps. But my friend who runs a local coffee shop convinced me to try a simple abandoned cart email. People who got it came back three times more often than those who ghosted. Now I actually look at my open rates and laugh at how stubborn I was about it.

Ha, yeah the coffee shop example finally got through to me too... funny how that stuff actually works when you give it a chance.
