Blew $300 on Facebook ads with zero conversions last month
I thought I had this great product for moms in my city, so I set up a campaign targeting local parents. Spent $300 over 2 weeks with a nice carousel ad and a solid landing page. Ended up with zero sales and like 12 link clicks. Anyone else thrown money at Meta ads and gotten absolutely nothing back?

My buddy spent $500 on Facebook ads for his lawn care business and got like 3 clicks from people in another country. He ended up just posting in local mom groups for free and actually got customers that way.

3 clicks from people in another country" - man that hurts to read. Facebook ads are a scam for small local businesses unless you really know what you're doing. Your buddy learned the hard way what most people figure out eventually. Local mom groups are gold for stuff like lawn care. People trust recommendations from neighbors way more than some ad. Plus it's free and you can actually talk to people directly. The big platforms just want your money, they don't care if the clicks are from bots or someone in Bangladesh.
