Spreadsheet gurus vs. my yellow notepad, the $800 split test
I used to plan every ad campaign on a yellow legal pad, sketching out budgets and keywords with a pen I kept stealing from the bank, but last month I finally moved everything into a shared Google Sheet with my part-time VA... and I accidentally deleted the entire campaign list three days before launch. We rebuilt it in a panic using the browser history and some screenshots I'd sent to my buddy in Austin, and honestly the process was smoother than any spreadsheet I've ever made. Has anyone else had a system failure force them into an upgrade that actually worked out, or am I the only one who lost a week of sleep over a misplaced row?

That notepad backup trick actually sounds like a solid method. Losing data sucks but sometimes it forces you to find a cleaner way. Glad the panic rebuild worked out for you.
