Chose between Google Ads and Facebook Ads for my side hustle last month
I was selling handmade planters on Etsy and had $200 to burn on ads. I went with Google Ads because I figured people searching for 'ceramic planters' would convert better than scrolling past a photo. Did anyone else find one platform way more effective for a tiny budget?

Did that $200 feel like it disappeared into thin air before you even figured out what was working? @the_anthony is right about the keyword struggle, I lost half my budget on broad match terms before I switched to exact match for 'small ceramic planters'. The targeting on Google Ads was tighter for my product but I had to keep adjusting bids every few days.
