Warning: that $120 tablet pen was a bust for my art
Bought a fancy stylus for my drawing tablet last month, figured it'd fix my pressure issues but the lines still come out janky. Anyone else get burned on pricey accessories that don't actually improve your workflow?
...and honestly what finally fixed it for me was just drawing through it, not buying more stuff. I had the same problem with a pricier pen, lines all over the place, and turns out the tablet driver needed a complete uninstall and reinstall. Did that, recalibrated the pressure curve in the settings, and it was like a whole new device. Sometimes the fancy tech is fine, it's just the software being dumb on your computer. I'd check the driver thing first before you toss another hundred bucks at it... also try a different drawing app if you can, just to see if it's the pen or the program.
