Tried a weird brush setting in Procreate and got a cool texture

I was messing with the 'wet acrylic' brush and turned the grain scale down to 10%. It made this awesome, gritty paper-like texture I've never seen before. Anyone know other brush tweaks for unexpected results?

Ever try turning the smudge tool way up with a textured brush? I got this weird, almost melted crayon look once that was perfect for drawing old signs. Messing with the blend modes on the smudge can do some wild stuff too.

That melted crayon effect sounds perfect for vintage stuff. Which blend modes did you find worked best with the smudge tool? I always get mixed results with that.
