That video about color theory finally clicked for me yesterday
I always thought color theory was just some art school pretentiousness. But I watched a 10 minute breakdown showing how shifting the hue on a single piece by 15 degrees changed the whole mood. Tried it on a portrait I'd been struggling with and the skin tones actually looked alive for the first time. Anyone else have a simple trick that changed how you see your own work?

The trick that messed with my head was flipping the image horizontally. Suddenly all those weird spacing issues jumped right out at me.

Yeah flipping it helps reset the eyes for sure.
