That one comment on my first piece still sticks with me
I posted a rough landscape on DeviantArt back in 2008 and some random person just said 'the trees look like they're breathing.' I didn't even know what that meant at first, but I kept going back to that painting for months trying to figure it out. Does anyone else have a stranger's feedback that totally changed how you see your own work?

@ivan_perez gets it. That kind of feedback rewires your brain. One weird comment from a stranger can matter more than a hundred likes.
