Spent 4 hours trying to fix a weird color shift in my digital painting

Turns out I had a random color profile stuck on my monitor from ages ago, and it was throwing off all my work. Has anyone else dealt with hidden color settings messing up their art like that?

The whole week" part got me. There's levels to this stuff too. I knew someone who spent three days trying to figure out why their stylus wasn't working right. Turned out they were using a regular stylus on a non-touchscreen laptop the whole time. They had the wrong tool for the job and just kept forcing it. Makes you wonder how many other little things we just brute force through instead of stopping to check.
