Rant: I had to pick between a free brush pack or a paid one for my new comic style

I went with the free one to save cash, but the blending is kinda rough. It took me like 3 extra hours to finish a single panel because of it. Anyone know a good, affordable brush set for comic shading?

My cousin swears by the Kyle Webster packs, even the basic ones. That extra three hours sounds brutal.
