Pro tip: stop overusing those soft blur brushes for skin
I keep seeing portraits in this showcase where every pore is gone and the face looks like plastic. Real skin has texture and that's what makes digital art look alive, so why are we hiding it behind a filter? Has anyone else noticed this trend getting worse over the last year?

Man, I feel this one hard. It's like people are scared to let skin look like actual skin anymore. The plastic look is everywhere and it honestly takes me right out of the piece every time. Real texture is what gives a portrait that spark of life. I'm glad someone finally said it out loud.

Why is everyone so scared of a few pores?
