My tablet pen started drawing on its own during a live stream

I was doing a digital painting demo for a local library event over Zoom last month, and my stylus just took off across the canvas, scribbling a giant purple line. I had to pretend it was a 'happy accident' and work it into the landscape as a weird river. Has anyone else had their gear totally ghost on them like that?

amygonzalez that's actually brilliant, calling it a new feature. I should've done that instead of trying to awkwardly narrate my way through "and now this river is a metaphor for chaos." Your perfect circle thing is wild though, mine just scribbles like a toddler with a crayon when it glitches. Makes me think these pens have their own secret artistic ambitions they're dying to express. Maybe they get tired of our boring strokes and want to make their mark. Next time mine goes rogue I'm gonna let it finish its masterpiece and just tell everyone it's a collaborative piece.

My old Wacom pen did that during a client call, drawing a perfect circle I could never replicate. I just said it was a new feature!

Man, tech going rogue at the worst moment is the worst. My old drawing pad once decided to spam the undo shortcut during a sketch, wiping out ten minutes of work in two seconds flat. You playing it off as a weird river was a total pro move. That "happy accident" save is a skill all its own.
