My comic page looked flat until I swapped my line work brush

I was working on a fantasy comic page and my usual brush made everything look too clean and digital, you know? I switched to a brush pack called 'Inktober Rough' that has texture and pressure wobble built in. The difference was huge, the lines had weight and felt like real ink on paper. Has anyone else found a specific brush that totally changed their line art game?

I spent a whole year using a basic round brush before trying a tapered one with a paper texture overlay. It forced me to slow down and commit to each stroke, which made my lines more confident. The texture adds a subtle grit that stops things from looking too slick and perfect. That bit of controlled messiness is what sells the idea of a hand-drawn page.

Ever tried the Muji pen brush? @nathan_patel nailed it with that grit point.

Ha, my default brush makes everything look like a kid drew it.
