Had to pick between Procreate and Clip Studio for a commission gig
Went with Clip Studio for the $50 comic project. Took 3 extra hours to learn the layers setup. Regretting it a bit now - the brush lag made me miss a deadline by a day. Has anyone else switched mid-project and regretted it?

That brush lag thing is rough. Did you try tweaking the performance settings before you gave up on it, or was the deadline too tight to mess with that stuff?

Ugh, that brush lag is the WORST and I totally feel your pain on that. I tried EVERYTHING in the settings, turning down all the fancy effects and stuff, but it still felt like I was painting through molasses. The deadline was absolutely breathing down my neck too, so I just had to power through and deal with it. Honestly, it made me miss the simpler days where apps just WORKED without needing a supercomputer.
