Casa Bonita nostalgia hit different this weekend

Took my kid there Saturday for the first time since I was like 12. The cliff divers are still the same but the whole place feels cleaner and brighter, almost like a theme park now. I remember the line wrapping around the block in the 90s and the food being part of the fun, not the main draw. Has anyone else gone back as an adult and felt like you were seeing a different building entirely, or is that just me getting old?
