Why does nobody talk about how Amazon Warehouse Deals can be a total scam?

I bought a "like new" refurbished blender for $35 off, and it showed up with a cracked pitcher and someone else's dried smoothie crusted inside the lid. I learned that "like new" means nothing when third-party sellers just toss returns back in stock without checking. Has anyone else had a similar experience with their Warehouse Deals, or did I just get unlucky with a bad seller?

Happened to me with a "like new" router that still had the previous owner's network name saved in it... couldn't even log in to reset it. The real scam nobody talks about is how Warehouse Deals are basically a lottery where Amazon dumps all the returned junk from the past six months into one big pile and calls it "open box." They don't train the people doing the inspections so you get stuff that's clearly broken or missing parts listed as "excellent condition" just because the box isn't crushed. I stopped buying from them after getting a laptop charger that was clearly a fake knockoff but listed as "certified refurbished"...

And how many times did you have to go back and forth with customer service before they even admitted the "like new" listing was wrong? Did they make you jump through hoops to return it?
