That time a cashier at Target showed me the clearance app trick
Last month I was buying coffee pods at Target and the cashier scanned a bag of chips that wasn't marked down. She pulled out her phone, opened the Target app, and showed me the clearance prices are almost always lower than the shelf tags. Has anyone else caught their local stores not updating stickers?

Oh man that cashier did you a solid! The app trick is legit, I check it every time now before I even grab stuff off the shelf. What drives me nuts is the shelf tags can be weeks behind, especially on clearance snacks and household stuff. I've started pulling up the app and scanning barcodes right in the aisle, saves me from getting to the register and finding out the real price is half of what's on the tag.
