My "unbeatable" flash deal cost me 60 bucks in fees

Last Tuesday I jumped on a 48-hour lightning deal for a portable jump starter, marked down from $89 to $29. What they didn't show until checkout was the $18 shipping and a $13 "handling fee" that made the total $60, plus it arrived 9 days later. Has anyone else gotten burned by flash deals where the hidden charges eat up the whole discount?

Did you really not look at the shipping and fees before you hit the buy button? The total is right there on the checkout screen, so it's not like they hid it in some fine print. Jump starters that are $29 usually have those add-ons, it's the standard deal. You still got a working product for less than half the original price, so is the gripe really about the fees, or just that it wasn't free?
