Found a tip about stacking coupons at Target that saved me $40
I was in line at Target in Austin last Saturday and overheard the cashier telling the guy in front of me how to use a store coupon on top of a manufacturer coupon on the same item. I always thought you could only use one per item. So I tried it on some laundry detergent and dish soap, and my total dropped by $40 compared to what I normally pay. It felt like a cheat code for real life. Now I check both coupon types before I buy anything there. Has anyone else had luck stacking coupons at other stores like Walmart or CVS?

Doesn't CVS also let you stack a store coupon with a manufacturer one?

@richard_hall yeah CVS does let you stack them, I had a buddy who did it with toothpaste and mouthwash and knocked like $15 off his total. He said the cashier even showed him how to pair the app coupons with the paper ones on the spot. Took him a few tries to get the hang of it but now he won't buy anything there without checking both first.
