TIL airflow direction matters more than I thought in my Fractal case

I always just threw fans in wherever they fit, but I watched a Gamers Nexus video last night where they tested positive vs negative pressure. Turns out my setup was pulling dust through every crevice, so I flipped two intakes to exhaust and my GPU dropped 4 degrees. Anyone else ever run the smoke test and realize your whole airflow was backwards?

Honestly, smoke tests are overrated and noise matters way more than a few degrees.

Not sure I'd go that far, man. Like yeah noise is annoying, but I had a cheap PSU once that ran fine for years, quiet as a mouse, then one day just poof - took my motherboard with it. Smoke test would've caught that early. Plus a few degrees can matter if you're pushing your chip hard or living in a hot climate. Not saying every build needs a torture test but writing off smoke checks completely feels a bit reckless to me.
