The customer who watched me cable manage for 20 minutes without saying a word

I was finishing up a build at the shop last month, this white NR200 with a mess of RGB fans. I had just spent a good chunk of time routing the 24-pin behind the PSU cage, using those little velcro straps I keep in my kit. This guy walks in, stands right behind me, arms crossed. Doesn't ask a question. Just watches. I figured he was waiting to pick up his own PC or something. After I cinched the last fan cable and flipped it on, he finally goes, "You treat those wires like they owe you money." Then he buys a pack of cable combs and leaves. Never even told me his name. I still think about that sometimes. Has anyone else had a random stranger just observe your process like that and drop a weird one-liner?

Man, some people just have that timing. I had a guy do something similar at my place, watched me zip tie a whole loop of Corsair fans for like half an hour, then when I finally daisy chained everything and it lit up, he just said, "That's a lot of trust in those little plastic clips." He wasn't even a customer, just some neighbor who wandered in because my garage door was open. Didn't buy anything, didn't ask for help, just left after that. It's almost like they're waiting for the exact worst moment to hit you with a line that makes you question your whole build. I still catch myself double checking my fan clips before I close a case up.
