Still kicking myself over that front fan setup advice
Back in March a guy on here named DaveyC said to run my intake fans as exhaust for better GPU temps in my Corsair 4000D. I told him he was nuts and ignored him. Three months later I finally tried it and my 3080 dropped 4 degrees under load. Now I owe him an apology but I forgot his username... has anyone else had advice you brushed off that actually worked way better than you thought?

Still kicking myself" is right, but you're not the only one who made that mistake. I tried it on a hunch with my O11 Dynamic and same thing, GPU dropped a few degrees.

Yeah "dropped a few degrees" is exactly what happened with mine too. I used to think fan placement was all about looks and RGB, not actual performance. But seeing my GPU temps drop by like 3-4 degrees after just moving a fan to the bottom intake slot really changed my mind. Same case, same parts, just different airflow path. Makes me wonder what else I've been doing wrong all these years. You gonna keep that setup or try something else?
