Yeah man, I actually read somewhere that like 90% of home network issues are just bad cables. Crazy right? A buddy of mine spent weeks trying to fix his slow internet, bought a new router, new modem, all that. Turned out it was just a chewed up ethernet cable behind his desk. You see it way more than people think, especially if you got pets. Always swap the cable first before dropping cash on gear.
