Spent $22 on a 90 degree 24 pin adapter and it barely fit my case, saved my side panel from bulging though
I built a new rig in a Corsair 4000D last month and the stock 24 pin cable pushed so hard on the glass that I could see it flex. I grabbed a cheap 90 degree adapter off Amazon for $22 hoping it would fix it. First one showed up and the pins were too short to click in, so I sent it back and tried a different one. The second one worked but it added just enough height that my side panel still rubs a little. Has anyone found an adapter that actually sits flush for this case, or should I just cave and buy custom cables?
Does the adapter sit flat against the board or is there a gap at the base of the pins? Curious if the 4000D just doesn't have enough room behind the tray for one of those.
