Picked up a trick for GPU sag from a builder at Micro Center last weekend

I was grabbing some fan splitters at the Micro Center in St. Davids and saw this guy building a display rig with a massive 4090. He was using a simple acrylic rod painted black to prop up the far corner of the card, not those fancy bracket supports. He said the key is to notch the rod a tiny bit so it sits snug against the card's edge without slipping. I tried it on my own build with a cheap $3 rod from a hardware store and it actually works better than the adjustable stand I had before. No more wobble when I move the case around. It also leaves the area under the card completely open for airflow, which my bottom intake fans appreciate. Has anyone else found a cheap DIY fix that beats store bought stuff?

That's a clever trick, I appreciate you sharing it. Simple solutions like that usually end up being the most reliable in my experience.
